After Death
Purely British Fun
If you enjoy quirky British humor, an excellent cast of characters and a beautiful old English estate, then this film is for you. Part science fiction, part murder/mystery - "After Death" is a cross-genre delight that I watched twice (one at it's US premiere in LA and second on DVD) and will watch again.
Think of a steampunk/Doctor Who/Downton Abbey hybrid and you might be getting close to what "After Death" is like.
After I accidentally purchased this..
I was looking at the write-up, and hit the “purchase” button without intending to. But it was such a happy accident. I watched this twice in two days! The trailer is deceiving.. there is so much more of a lighthearted, fun feel to it than one would expect watching the trailer. The characters are all appealing, even the ones I didn’t think would be at first. Being a glutton for horror films, I found this an enjoyable, happy movie. and it even had a happy ending. Don’t expect “Insidious” when watching this. There’s nothing EVIL lurking in the dark. But there are ghosts, and they’re quite appealing. Definitely worth a watch.
Great bit of British fun
Saw this at the Bram Stoker Film Festival. Good bit of fun, in the style of Doctor Who. Great cinematography and direction, and I quite fancy the redhead Eloise!
